A New Year

It's been awhile since my last entry, but now is a better time than ever to start writing. The new year is here and I gladly welcome 2010. I know this will sound cliche, but I do feel like this could be a new beginning. I recently started a new position with Guide Book Publishing. I enjoy it and I hope to improve week by week.

Much has happened since my last entry. My dad had all of his toes amputated on his right foot. It's for the best. He became very sick because of a friction blister which didn't heal on his foot. He's diabetic as well. Since the surgery, his health has improved and he's 100 percent better. I am happy he's in good health and for the most part good spirits.

I do miss working in television. I'm not quite sure if I want to eventually get into the grind again. Perhaps that decision is for the distant future. As the saying goes, "time will tell."

I have talked with many friends lately who I haven't seen in quite some time. It's good to hear their voices. Not sure what I would do without them. All of you are very dear to me and you all know who you are.

I am currently in Detroit writing this entry. Farmington Hills to be more precise. The travel is nice. It's always good to see new places and meet new people. It's getting late so I think I'll get some sleep.
